Here is some information to consider:

​Location:

• Not close to cooking equipment; heat is detrimental to an ice machine

• A minimum of a 6-inch clearance is recommended for back and sides

• A minimum of 12 inches for the top of the ice machine is recommended for air flow and maintenance

 

Water Supply & Drain:

• Ice machines which produce up to 600 lbs need a 3/8-inch incoming water line with a water shut-off

• 800 lbs and above need a 1/2-inch incoming water line with a shut-off.

 

Power:

• Ice machines up to 500 lbs. use 115 - 120v

• Ice machines over 600 lbs. use 220 - 240v
